w1-4-2_img_0036 In the Northeast Community, approximately 400 associates - women and men of various ages and lifestyles - share the Mercy spirit and charism of Catherine McAuley with the Sisters of Mercy and with each other. Associates participate in ministry, prayer, and community in a variety of ways, including regular associate gatherings, days of prayer, retreats, Northeast Community celebrations and liturgies, justice ministry, and theological reflection groups.

Throughout the Institute, there are nearly 4,000 associates.
